The Shippo Art Village is the place where you can see, touch, learn and experience Shippo-yaki, Cloisonne which was reimported from Netherland and rediscovered about 200 years ago, which has been uniquly advanced in Shippo, Owari area, although the initial import of 7th century from China.
The facility has four zones, introduction zone, work exhibition zone, Shippo-yaki experience zone, and dynamic exhibition zone. The Fureai Densetsukan is a cloisonne ware. In addition to exhibiting works and tools, craftsmen from the Cloisonne Producers Cooperative take turns holding demonstrations and hands-on classrooms. In addition, a walking path has been developed in the Fureai Square, which is a place for users for friendly interaction.

Edokiriko (Japanese: 江戸切子、えどきりこ) is Japanese famous glass craftwork. It was originally produced in the city of Edo which was Tokyo's name during the Edo period (1603-1868).
