Takeda Castle


It has great view with sea of clouds like the Castle in the sky.
Sea of coulds would be seen early in the morning, dawn to around 8am while lower temperature, from late September to early April. The best season would be from late November to early December, which more possibility sea of clouds appear. May need caution for snowing from the end of December to the end of February, higher risks for climbing the hill.

There were 5 routes to the Takeda castle ruins about 1-3 miles hill climb walk paths around/from JR Takeda Station, which is about two hours from Kyoto or Himeji by railway. Although, because increasing people visiting Takeda castle ruins and maintain and preserve the paths and ruins, the paths would be closed and only shuttle bus would be allow to the main path.
