Bee-dama ビー玉

Bee-dama (びーだま、ビーダマ、ビー玉）is a Japanese toy and traditional Japanese children's game, a marble, a small spherical object made from glass. These balls vary in size. Most commonly, they are about 13 mm (1⁄2 in) in diameter, but they may range from less than 10 mm (2⁄5 in) to over 5 cm (2 in). Bee-dama can be used for a variety of games. They are often collected, both for nostalgia and for their aesthetic colors.
