Beautiful Mt Fuji Viewing Spots
In Japan, there are so many places' name with Fuji, and those places used to be able to see Mt Fuji, such as Fuji-mi (means Fuji view), Fuji-mi-zaka (Fuji view slope), Fuji-mi-ga-oka (Fuji view hill). As you know, Mt Fuji is the highest mountain in Japan. And even some Sumo wrestlers have had fuji in their name, who were named whishing to become Strongest and to reach highest rank of Yokozuna. Mt Fuji is not only famous but also a greatly, deeply rooted in Japanese people's mind. When I was kid, I could see Mt. Fuji from the westside window of upstair of our house with good weather condition, even 160km faraway from the mountain, east of Tokyo. The place name was not with FUji, although, many places around Mt Fuji, can be seen the mountain sometimes.
